OUR HISTORY

Don Clark, Pineland Green’s founder, first ran a gravel pit, the Pine and Spruce Christmas Tree Farm and a top soil gardening business, before deciding to open a 9-hole golf course on the 50 acres of Safari Road property.  Over the years, Don and his wife, Elva, worked hard and watched as their business slowly grew and flourished into the successful operation that it is today. Their eldest son, Ted Clark and his wife, Marilyn, ran the business when Don and Elva retired. For the last 10 years, Jeff Clark, Don’s grandson, has been leading the family business and represents the third generation to be taking on this role.

There have been many ongoing changes to Don’s original design, but the beauty and tranquility of the walkable nine-hole course remains the same.  Built on a gentle, sloping landscape with mature trees and manicured gardens, this executive course is an ideal match for golfers of all ages and abilities.

Don and Elva’s vision was to create an environment where people could come to enjoy themselves. The sense of community found at Pineland Greens is grounded in the neighbourly spirit that comes from a family who truly cares about its members and patrons.
